Yonge-Eglinton Real Estate
Luxury Central Toronto Condos, Homes and Houses
Yonge and Eglinton was once part of the old Town of North Toronto and sometimes still referred to as and is now a
home for young professionals. It was during the early 19th Century when North Toronto became a large agricultural
estate because the area was a part of the largest cattle grazing region in Upper Canada. But the area has also grown
along with the city and later became a commuter’s suburb. Nowadays, this intersection has been bustled by a mall, 2
cinemas, glittering TV screens with their 24-hour advertisements, office towers, shopping centers, coffee shops,
dozens of shops and restaurants. Aside from its quiet side streets, Yonge-Eglinton is also a home for reputable
schools like Allenby and North Toronto Collegiate which makes it a sought-after address mostly for young people.
According to the Statistics Canada’s 2001 census 39% of the approximate number of people living in this area is
between the ages of 25 and 44. These figures gave this area the nickname “Young and Eligible”.
An individual or a family needs enough reasons to choose a place to stay and live in. As per Yonge and Eglinton, you
