Prior to the Heath Family appropriately naming their land Deer Park, the area was formerly called as "Mushquoteh" by the first nation’s people. Subdivided into 33 lots in 1846, country villas, a racetrack, a school, a store and a hotel at which patrons could feed deer which roamed the Heaths' property graced the area in 1850’s and then Heath Family’s property was entirely sold off in 1874. With the original Deer Park houses still showcasing its beauty, modern luxury condos and townhomes added beauty in the neighborhood in around 1980’s and still growing.
